List of options

The following options can be set for the quiz
For information on how to set up, click here "How to set the option value".

Basic settings

These are basic settings such as question format, number of questions, randomization, and passing score.

mode master Set value (master/normal)
master:You can use "Overcome Weaknesses" in which unanswered/study/wrong questions are given priority, and "Total Review" in which all questions are given priority.
NORMAL: Questions will be submitted without consideration of past correct/incorrect situations.

layout

normal When using the layout function option, "#mode:normal" must be specified.
*Only in normal mode can it be changed to the test layout.
Set value (normal/exam/exam-vertical)

→Layout (horizontal): The question text is displayed on the left, and the answer choices and answer columns are displayed on the right.

→The "Test Layout (Vertical)": The question text is displayed on the right, and the answer choices and answer columns are displayed on the left.

master_count

1 Valid only in master mode (#mode:master ).
Sets the number of correct answers in master mode.
e.g.) If there are 10 questions and you set "#master_count:1
1st round: 8 correct, 2 wrong → 80%

passing_score

80 Passing score.
In Master mode, it is the passing rate (%), and in Normal mode, it is the passing score (points).

question_count

(None) If this option is not set, all questions will be asked.

weak_count

(None) Set the number of questions in "Overcoming Weaknesses."
This option is only available in Master mode and allows you to change the number of questions to overcome weaknesses after 100% (Perfect) achievement.
If set to #weak_count:1, only one question will be submitted, and if no value is given, all questions will be submitted.

shuffle_sections

false Select whether the order in which the sections are displayed should be randomized (true) or fixed (false).
Please specify Normal Mode, because Sectional Questions are not available in Master Mode.

shuffle_questions

false Randomize the order of the questions; if true is specified, the questions will be asked randomly.
true:Random questions
FALSE: Question from the first question

shuffle_choices

true Select whether the display order of the options should be random (true) or fixed (false).
If set to false, the choices will be displayed in the same order each time for both multiple choice and multiple choice questions.

movable

true On(true)": You can move freely between questions.
Off(false)": must be solved from the first question.

time_limit

No time limit Set a time limit for the solution.
The unit is seconds. If set to 0, there is no time limit.
Example: If set at 30 → 30 sec.
When set at 90 → 1 minute 30 seconds

time_limit_mode

total Time limits can be set for the entire session or for each question.
#time_limit_mode:total

show_seigo_count

true The number of correct/incorrect answers for each question can be set to be displayed (On/Off) while answering.
On(true)": Display
Off(false)": Hide

minimum_score

0 The minimum score can be set.
If the score other than "waiting for grading" in the report and questionnaire description is less than the set score, the grade will be returned immediately as a failing grade.

partial_score

true The number of points per question for each of the fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice, pull-down, and combination questions is allocated by dividing the number of choices by the number of questions.
On(true)": with partial points
Off(false)": no partial point

rounding_setting_of_score

rounddown Specifies how to handle the case where the number of points has a fraction after the decimal point.
rounddown: truncation
ROUND: Rounding to the nearest whole number.

show_instant_result

true You can set the display of correct or incorrect answers for each question.
When "false" is specified, all questions are scored together instead of scoring and displaying the results for each question.

hide_mark_button

false You can set the scoring buttons to be hidden.
If true is specified, all questions will be scored together instead of scoring and displaying results one question at a time.
It works in conjunction with #show_instant_result:false.

allow_submission_without_answer

false You can set whether or not to allow submissions when the answer is unanswered.
On(true)": Allow
Off(false)": not allowed

tag_visible

true You can show/hide section tags and question tags.
On(true)": Display
Off(false)": Hide

show_correct_answer

true You can set the display/non-display of correct answers in case of wrong answers.
Off(false)" is recommended if you want to hide the correct answer or if there are images in the choices and they are beyond the explanation field.
On(true)": Display
Off(false)": Hide

answer_display

follow_question_statement You can set the display position of the answer column.
Follow question statement (follow_question_statement): The answer field follows the question statement.
Show at the end of the screen (end_of_content): The answer field is shown at the end of the screen.
However, if the question text is long, it will be displayed at the end of the screen regardless of the setting.
This setting applies to normal layout and test layout (vertical writing).

suspendable

true_resume You can interrupt a quiz you are studying and resume from the interrupted question.
true: When resuming, you can choose to "resume from where you left off" or "start over from the beginning".
true_resume: You can only select "resume from where you left off". (You cannot start over from the beginning.)
*If the option value is changed from [ON] to [OFF] after the quiz is interrupted, the learner will not be able to interrupt the quiz from the next time onward.
Please note any changes.

suspendable_count

(UNLIMITED) This function can be used in conjunction with the interruption resume function.
Therefore, "#suspendable:true" must be specified.
You can set the number of times from 1 to 99.
If unentered or 0, the limit is unlimited.
Example: If set with #suspendable_count:1, the interruption resume is once.

show_suspendable_button

true This function can be used in conjunction with the interruption resume function.
Therefore, "#suspendable:true" must be specified.
If you set this option, you can choose whether or not to show the [Suspend] button on the answer screen.
#show_suspendable_button: true → [Suspend] button is shown
#show_suspendable_button: false → [Suspend] button is hidden

pass

false The "I don't know" option will be added to the choice question, choice (quick), and multiple choice options.
true: "I don't know" is displayed.
false: Not displayed

skip_intro_page

false You can set the intro screen to skip.
#skip_intro_page:true → Hide
#skip_intro_page:false → Display

autoplay

false Automatic playback of voice created by the text-to-speech function can be set when questions are displayed.
true: Automatic playback
false: Do not autoplay

background_audio_playback

true Background playback of audio can be set.
true: Audio is played in the background
false: Audio is not played in the background
*Background playback is "a method of playing videos and music even while operating another application or the home screen.

font-size

Font size can be specified.
Be sure to specify units such as px.

restartable

true You can show/hide the "Return to previous screen" button on the results screen.
true: "Return to previous screen" button appears.
false: The "Return to previous screen" button will no longer appear.

display_results_at_start

false You can set the quiz to resume from the quiz results screen.
true: can be resumed
false: cannot resume

show_answers_so_far

false You can set the master mode to show answered.
true: Display
false: Not displayed

show_a_look_back

false You can set to show/hide the result screen after clearing.
true: Display
false: Not displayed

hide_list_button

false You can show/hide the list of questions page.
true: hidden
false: Display

trim

true Ignore leading and trailing whitespace (e.g., spaces) when determining correct or incorrect answers to short answer questions.
If false is specified, the correct answer is given only when there is an exact match, including the presence or absence of spaces.

ignore_case

true Ignores the difference between upper and lower case letters in the correctness of written questions.
If false is specified, the correctness of written questions will be case-sensitive.

ignore_zenhan

true When writing questions, the system does not distinguish between full-width and half-width characters.
true: Ignore
false: Do not ignore

ignore_whitespace_count

true The number of white spaces (e.g., spaces) is ignored (1, 2 or more in a row is considered correct, and 0 is considered incorrect) in the correctness of short answer questions.
true: Ignore
false: Do not ignore
If *false is specified, the correct answer will be given only when there is a perfect match, including the number of spaces, etc.

ignore_whitespace

false You can set the system to ignore white space when writing questions.
true: Ignore
false: Do not ignore

lang

ja Switches to en → English.
vi → Switch to Vietnamese.
If not specified, Japanese is used.
*Only the player switches, not the questions.

hide_result_summary

false This is the summary section of the results screen.
true: hidden
false: Display
If *true is specified, the summary section of the results screen will not be displayed.

hide_result_detail

false This is a display of the detail section of the results screen.
true: hidden
false: Display
If *true is specified, the detail section of the results screen will not be displayed.

sound

false Specifies whether or not sound effects are available.
true: Yes
false: None
If *true is specified, the sound effect will sound.

use_number_type_for_input

true If a numerical value is specified for a correct answer in the Short Answer, Short Answer+, or Multiple Short Answer fields, the answer input field can be set exclusively for numerical values.
true: Numerical values only
false: Text input allowed
If *true is specified, only numbers can be entered if the answer is a number in a short answer question.

fill_in_max_length

This function can be used when the question format uses short answer or multiple choice questions.
Set this option if you do not want unlimited characters to be entered.
If you want to automatically match the number of characters to the correct answer, please write "auto".
It works by setting the above option "use_number_type_for_input" to enable [true].

question_container_width

normal The screen width of the question screen can be set.
There are three screen widths to choose from: "normal view," "full screen view," and "selective view," which allows the user to select either normal or full screen view.

questions_memo

false Learners can write notes on the question text with a pen or marker.
On(true)": Allow
Off(false)": not allowed

message-related item

You can customize the message that is displayed when you answer correctly, incorrectly, pass, or fail.

This is the message displayed at the start.

*If it is not set, it will not be displayed.

messages_passed_title

Congratulations on passing the exam. You can set the title to be displayed at the top of the screen if the result screen is passed.

Keep up the good work. You can set the message to be displayed at the top of the screen (under the title) if the results screen is passed.

messages_failed_title

Unfortunately, it is unsuccessful. You can set the title to be displayed at the top of the screen if the results screen is unsuccessful.

messages_failed_body

Please review and re-work any problems you got wrong. You can set the message to be displayed at the top of the screen (under the title) in case of rejection in the results screen.

messages_waiting_for_grading_title

Accepted. You can set the title to be displayed at the top of the screen when waiting for scoring on the results screen.
*If there is a question waiting to be graded, this title will be given priority.

messages_waiting_for_grading_body

Please wait a moment for grading. You can set the message to be displayed at the top of the screen (under the title) when waiting for scoring on the results screen.
*If there is a question waiting to be graded, this message will take precedence.

messages_correct

The icon for a correct answer can be changed to a message.

messages_incorrect

The icon for wrong answers can be changed to a message.

messages_not_selected

Please select an answer You can set a warning message if you try to submit a multiple choice or multiple choice question without selecting an option.

Please enter your answer This is a warning message when you try to submit a written question without writing the answer.

SCORM related items

These are the settings to use when using LMS as SCORM materials. In most cases, the default settings are fine.
