Convert moodle questions to QuizGenerator compatible txt

A tool is available to convert some of the questions created in moodle into .txt files that can be used in QuizGenerator.
This conversion tool has made the switch from moodle a smooth process.

Working with moodle

The first step is to write out the problem in moodle.

From the quiz, click on the operation menu in the upper right corner (in the red frame in the image below).

Click on "Export" at the bottom of the list of operations menu.

On the export screen, select the file format "Moodle XML format". In the "Export categories" field, select the question banks to export. Export categories to file" and "Export context to file" should be checked. Finally, click on "Export questions to file" and an .xml file will be downloaded.

Operation with the Conversion Tool

Click on "Choose file" and select the .xml file you downloaded from moodle.
Then click "Convert.

You will see a preview of the text file to be converted at the top and errors at the bottom.
Click "Download" to download the text file.
You can use this file directly in QuizGenerator and learningBOX.
