Text-to-speech
The text-to-speech function allows you to have text read aloud.
You can only set up to four quizzes per quiz, but if you purchase a QuizGenerator license, you can set up an unlimited number of quizzes.
This page is a part of the QuizGenerator (https://quizgenerator.net/). This section describes the case where you have purchased a license key from the page in the "License Key" section (see below).
If you have purchased a QuizGenerator license from the order screen in learningBOX (see below), the license key will be set up automatically in the learningBOX setup screen.
What is Text-to-Speech function?
This is a function that converts specified sentences and words into a realistic voice and reads them out loud by the machine.
QuizGenerator's text-to-speech feature isAmazon Pollycloud service. Available voice is "Standard" only.
*Neural usage and neural-specific audio are not available.
How to make a listening question
Please make sure to use one-byte characters (including symbols).
List of supported language
In addition to English, we also support a wide variety of other languages, including Portuguese, French, Danish, and Dutch.
In addition to language type, it is also possible to select speakers from "male/female".

How to set the number of times audio is played back only once
If you want to make it play only once, change the number of parentheses from 2 to 3.
e.g.)<<<Hello,Mr.John>>>
How to change the speaker
You can also change the speaker. (Default is Joanna)
For example, if you want to change the speaker to Nicole, the text will be like:<<Nicole:Good morning.>>.
If you want to change the speaker to Russell,<<Russell:Good morning.>>.

About QuizGenerator License Key
If you wish to set up more than 5 text-to-speech functions for a single quiz, you will need to purchase a license.

*Purchase of a license allows you not only unlimited use of the text-to-speech function, but also the freedom to change the design of the player screen and the words in the system. Please keep the e-mail address and license key you entered at the time of payment, as they will be needed for later setup. (If you do not receive the email, please check to see if your email address is blocked by spam filters.)
